To: perspective buyers in the Brazos area
I want to take this opportunity to first say thank you to two individuals (Carol Swartz/Judy Gerber of Brazos Mountain Real Estate) that made a dream became a reality. Over the last several years my wife and I spent time in the Brazos which we had falling in love with. The natural beauty and the friendly people were beyond words. This past spring I came across a cabin that we had seen during our visits and I immediately called the listing reality (Brazos Mountain Real Estate). Carol Schultz answered the phone (who I had never met before). She was very professional and personal able. The following weekend she made arrangements for my wife and me to visit a number of listings that were comparable to the cabin that I initially identified. Because of this, in a very timely manner Carol helped us come to an informed decision. During the following three weeks, as we worked the closure issues with the seller and other contractual matters, both Carol and Judy were there to either provide direction and/or work other issues (i.e. Home/septic inspections, title, home association, water obligations). What was most impressive was that they went beyond the services one would expect from a realtor but also helped us become part of a very friendly/caring Brazos community. Carol and Judy provided a very high level of professional service, an exceptional experience and as I stated above, a quick integration into a community of outstanding neighbors.
To Carol and Judy I say thank you.
To others I say, if you are interested in acquiring property in the Brazos area, I would I highly recommend these two individuals to assist you in achieving your dream.

"After looking for land in the Chama Valley on a hit-or-miss basis for almost 10 years, I found Judy Gebman in August 2008. I told her that I was shopping on a tight budget, and she took me to a small property with great views -- and a modest price. I liked it, but was it too small to be buildable? Would it qualify for a septic permit? Judy didn't try to "sell me" on the idea that it would, or pressure me. She went to work with me to find out, and one afternoon in late August we measured the distance to neighboring wells with a bright yellow, 100-foot tape and stood in the wildflowers as a state inspector said, "Yes, it's doable." That was music to my ears. Judy put hours and hours into that little property, which I bought with complete confidence in September. If you want to feel that you're working with a partner, and not just a salesperson, I highly recommend Judy Gebman." -- Tom Harmon, Albuquerque" back to top

""I am a realtor in Las Vegas, NV., selling an old family home in Tierra Amarilla. I can honestly say that working with Judy Gebman has been a pleasure. She has kept on top of all aspects of the sell. I would love to have her working here in Las Vegas with me. Her honesty and integrety is remarkable."
